the corporate headquarters for the Tyco Electronics'
M/A-COM business. Of the 686,000 square feet, 298,000
sq. ft. is manufacturing and 42,000 sq. ft. is clean
room space.
The Tyco Electronics' M/A-COM Lowell facility is
ISO 9001 certified and manufactures medium-volume
products for communications infrastructure, systems
for sensing and wireless communications, components,
assemblies and subsystems for avionics, defense,
space and government.

The building has 158,000 square feet of which 21,000

The Roanoke Fab and Design Center produces a wide
range of Amplifier and Multifunction MMIC devices for
both the military and commercial marketplaces. These
products operate at frequency ranges from 800 MHz to
greater than 20 GHz and feature the M/A-COM proprietary
GaAs Multifunction Self Aligned Gate (MSAG) process.
The Roanoke operations consists of two facilities
and has a total of 43,000 square feet between the
two. There is 11,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing space
and 8,000 sq. ft. of clean room space. Both facilities
are ISO 9001 certified.

The Tyco Electronics' M/A-COM Wireless Systems business
is located in a new state-of-the-art facility on Jefferson
Ridge Parkway and houses Sales, Finance, Marketing,
Engineering and Technical Training. The CIC (Customer
Integration Center) facility is home to Operations,
Warehouse and Quality Control and is located nearby.

The San Jose Operations designs and manufactures
both single-function RF & MW components and complex
multi-function modules, serving worldwide Military,
Space and Commercial markets. The products are based
on world-class electrical design capabilities that
achieve advanced circuits from 1MHz to over 40 GHz.
The circuit design techniques are used to create a
broad series of products, including amplifiers, mixers,
frequency doublers, signal control products and multi-function
modules / complete integrated subsystems.
This newly built facility has 160,000 square feet
of which 72,000 sq. ft. is manufacturing space.

The Milton Keynes facility located in the U.K. supports
three M/A-COM business units and manufactures semiconductors,
components, sub-systems, surface mount voltage controlled
oscillators, synthesizers for wireless base station
market, autonomous cruise control radar, engineering
support for OpenSky, and European market opportunities.
The facility, which has recently undergone expansion
and modernization, comprises a 50,000 square foot
building for manufacturing (shown) and an adjacent
13,500 sq. ft. office building for Engineering and
Administration.

in a modern industrial park in Maryland's scenic Hunt
Valley north of Baltimore. This self-contained enterprise
of about 70 people is housed in a modern 32,000 square
foot manufacturing and administrative facility that
comprises all product design, engineering, production,
marketing & sales,
equipment servicing, customer training, human resources
and management functions.
