Our Membrane Probe Test Technology features a flexible polymide substrate that uses a web to establish an RF ground plane and nickel bumps to contact the device. This new interface utilizes a compliant membrane coupled with a self-planarizing force mechanism to provide state of the art signal integrity for rugged production environments. The membrane probe provides 8 RF ports and 72 DC and power lines. The benefits of this probe technology are numerous.

Our KLA Autoprober provides cassette-to-cassette handling, allows 100 mm wafer sizing and is capable of testing more than 100pin I/Os.

Our GaAs Foundry Service utilizes Plastic Surface Mount Package Handlers to test for many industry-standard package styles including, SOIC, SOT, MSOP, SSOP, QSOP, TSSOP....And Ceramic Package Handlers for high frequency(18GHz) pick and place tooled for leaded Flatpack and Surface Mount styles while allowing two seconds handling maximum.

Our test systems are networked via a Unix Backbone to provide common data storage. We utilize 25 standard RF testing systems for measuring s-parameters, noise figure, pulse power, IMD, 1dB compression and frequency conversion. In addition, we use histograms, wafer maps, raw data plots (statistical box plots) and real-time monitoring of test lot yields.
