RoHS Parts Information

M/A-COM has released many standard products that are RoHS compliant. RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) is a European legislative directive that bans the use of cadmium, hexavalent chromium, lead, mercury, PBBs (polybrominated biphenyls) and PBDEs (polybrominated diphenyl ethers) in components sold in the European Union by July 2006. In addition to being lead-free, most of M/A-COM's RoHS products are compatible with the elevated temperature processing conditions needed to manufacture RoHS compliant electronics.

Military/Space Customers Still Supported

M/A-COM still manufactures leaded parts for high reliability military and space applications. Many RoHS compliant parts that M/A-COM manufactures are made from tin free materials (such as gold) and are suitable for military and space applications. Please contact us for more information.
