11.3 Gbps Limiting Amplifier
Low Power (< 140 mW) Limiting Amp for SFP+ Applications in 3X3 16-pin QFN Package The M02142 is a high-performance, feature rich 11.3 Gbps limiting amplifier with integrated loss of signal (LOS) detection and received signal strength indicator (RSSI). The M02142 provides input sensitivity of 5 mVPP at full data rate and with its wide input dynamic range, the M02142 can accept up to 1.6 VPP differential input voltage. Rate select is supported for SFP+ applications and/or to achieve optimum sensitivity at data rates = 4.25 Gbps. Using the I2C interface allows complete adjustability of LOS, output amplitude and output de-emphasis by internal DAC settings. Additionally, output squelch "Jam" can be enabled or disabled as well as many other internal settings.
