12G Multirate Long Reach Equalizer with Reclocker
The M23564 is a multi-rate, highly integrated, adaptive cable equalizer with integrated reclocker for next generation SDI and DVB-ASI video as well as digital audio applications. It provides adaptive, low noise, high gain equalization for 75 Ohm coaxial cable at SDI data rates from 125 Mbps to 11.88 Gbps. The M23564features an integrated reclocker with a built in automatic rate detection circuit that locks to 270 Mbps, 1.4835/1.485 Gbps, 2.967/2.97 Gbps, 5.934/5.94 and 11.868/11.88 Gbps. The integrated reclocker eliminates the need for standalone reclockers at the system’s input and reduces system cost, complexity and power consumption. The M23564 offers a single output solution. The device operates using a single 2.5 V supply voltage and has extremely low power consumption. It may be used in either hardware mode, or controlled through a standard four-wire serial digital interface. Furthermore, it features advanced diagnostic capabilities such as cable length indication, loss of signal detection, input jitter diagnostics and offers power management functions such as power down upon loss of signal.
