The MAXP-23002 and MAXP-23004 crosspoints with integrated Clock and Data Recovery (CDR) are dual and quad backplane equalizer and redrivers with optimized power consumption and performance. The 2x2 and 4x4 fully non-blocking asynchronous crosspoint switches operate at data rates from 100 Mbps to 12.5 Gbps. Each device receiver is equipped with an adaptive continuous time linear equalizer (programming optional) that is designed to equalize up to 25 dB of insertion loss at 5.94 GHz for 12G-SDI applications and up to 20 dB of insertion loss at up to 7 GHz for 14.025Gb/s applications. The built-in CDRs in these two crosspoints helps eliminate residual jitter and provide a clean signal for transmitting to downstream devices. Each output buffer has De-emphasis circuitries as well as four programmable output swings that help to precompensate for channel losses between the crosspoints and any downstream devices. The MAXP-23002 and MAXP-23004 can be control via 4-wire (SPI) interface with daisy chain support. The MAXP- 23002 and MAXP-23004 are packaged in a 32-pin, 5mm x 5mm and 48-pin, 7mm x 7mm LFGA packages respectively.
