Lowell, Massachusetts—June 3, 2009—M/A-COM Technology Solutions announces the appointment of Joseph G. Thomas to Chief Executive Officer. He previously served as President. Mr. Thomas has been with the company for 35 years, serving in a number of senior management positions. He has led growth teams addressing multiple markets--ranging from consumer entertainment to strategic defense applications. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Thomas was an Engineering Manager with Micro Dynamics in Woburn, Massachusetts, U.S. Mr. Thomas holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering that he received in 1973 from the University of Massachusetts, U.S.
